Welcome to Ashridge Labradors

Bridget
Ashridge Labradors, Carol A. Baugh breeder, was located for 30 years in the Finger Lakes region of upstate New York, overlooking beautiful Cayuga Lake. The first litter was whelped in 1981 with Fredwell Bridget, the "foundation bitch" pictured when a puppy, at left, as the dam (for more pictures of Bridget, please go to Photos). My interest is in producing healthy yellow and black labradors with pleasing heads, dark brown eyes, a sound body and exceptional character. My dogs have won numerous titles in show, obedience and hunting, but I am most proud of their keen intelligence and their warm personalities. In June 2012 Ashridge Labradors moved to 157 Fords Colony Drive, Williamsburg, VA 23188. After reviewing our website, if you are interested in making more specific inquiries about our dogs, please use our Contact Information page and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

One of
Ashridge Winchester(Chester)’s puppies, Windswept Phoebe of Ashridge, is featured in a video on the National Shooting Sports Foundation’s website about getting a dog ready for Hunting Season. Phoebe is being trained by Beverly Millheim, a professional hunt trainer who lives in Oxford, NY. Please consult Beverly Millheim’s website www.renegaderetrievers.com for any updates on Phoebe and possible litters.***
